Alejandro Sanz's "La Música No Se Toca" continues to be one of the Top 10 best-selling albums in the U.S. and Puerto Rico

Los Angeles, CA (Wednesday May 15, 2013) - Alejandro Sanz's "La Música No Se Toca" continues to post up as one of the Top 10 best-selling albums in the U.S. and Puerto Rico, thirty-three weeks after its release according to SoundScan. The album is the most successful Latin Pop album of the moment being is certified quintuple-platinum in Spain, double-platinum in Colombia, platinum in Mexico and Argentina and is a Gold-certified album in the US and Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Peru, Uruguay and Chile.

Last week, Alejandro Sanz partnered with The Recording Chapter and the GRAMMY U® SoundChecks program for a behind the scenes look at his La Musica no se Toca Tour 2013 at the Miami American Airlines Arena.  Sanz, spoke to 30+ students in an interactive question and answer session conducted by the Recording Academy's Monica Arellano.  That same day, Sanz received two nominations for Premios Juventud, for his hit track "No me compares".  Sanz premiered his hot new video Camino de Rosas on VEVO this week:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5AqsAvXVf6Q    

Alejandro Sanz is a THREE-TIME GRAMMY And SIXTEEN-TIME LATIN GRAMMY WINNER who has sold over 22 Million albums. His latest multi-platinum release "La Musica no se Toca" ("You Can't Touch the Music") debuted at #1 on Billboard's Top Latin Album's chart in September, and remains the best-selling Latin pop album in  the United States since its release. The album's first single "No me Compares" soared to #1 On the "Hot Latin Songs" chart and hit #1 in iTunes sales in the U.S. and in 18 other countries.

The artist concluded his U.S tour in Puerto Rico with a sold out show at the Coliseo José Miguel Agrelot, the biggest indoor arena in Puerto Rico. Alejandro Sanz's tour will continue on to Spain, where it is schedule to stop in more than 15 cities between the months of June and July.
