THE NEW LIVE ALBUM IS ALSO TOP 5 IN SALES IN MEXICO
Los Angeles, CA (Wednesday, June 19, 2013) – “ASONDEGUERRA Tour”, the new live production from Latin music icon, JUAN LUIS GUERRA, continues to be the highest selling album in the United States and Puerto Rico. The album is #1 in sales for a fifth consecutive week according to the Billboard Latin Albums Chart. Simultaneously, the record is Top 5 on the sales chart in Mexico.
The new album from the Dominican singer, songwriter and producer also maintains its position as one of iTunes most popular albums where it debuted #1 in 16 countries including the United States, Puerto Rico, Argentina, Venezuela, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Bolivia, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Panamá, Paraguay and Perú.
The album, recorded live at the Olympic Stadium in Santo Domingo includes live versions of some of the biggest hits from the iconic career of Juan Luis Guerra, a multiple Grammy and Latin Grammy winner. Amongst them the radio hit and first single “Frio, Frio”, the collaboration with bachata star Romeo Santos that has become one of the most popular songs in the country. The album also includes new live versions of the hits “La Bilirrubina”, “Bachata Rosa”, “Ojala Que Llueva Café”, “En El Cielo No Hay Hospital”, “Bachata en Fukuoka”, “Mi Bendición” and “La Calle”, which features Colombian rocker Juanes.
“ASONDEGUERRA Tour” is available for digital download and in stores as a CD and a deluxe edition (CD+DVD) which contains the entire concert including additional songs such as the time-less classics “Bachata Rosa” and “Burbujas de Amor”.
