The Spanish singer-songwriter is the only artist to perform at the Fidelity "La Noche De Estrellas" ("A Night of Stars") festival two years in a row, once again receiving a roaring standing ovation from the capacity crowd
San Juan, Puerto Rico - (October 1, 2012)- This past weekend, the love-affair between Spanish singer-songwriter Antonio Orozco and the Puerto Rican public was further solidified after 3 standing ovations by the capacity crowd at Fidelity's "La Noche de Estrellas" radio festival. The roars within the festival's venue, the Jose Miguel Agrelot Coliseum in San Juan, were deafening as the 15,000 people who attended unified their voices to join Orozco as he sang a collection of his most revered songs. As he took the stage, he became the first artist to perform at the Puerto Rican radio station's annual celebration two years in a row, this time on a bill that included Alejandro Sanz, Beto Cuevas, Jesse y Joy and Pablo Alborán. Once again, the artist delivered a show-stealing and magical performance.
Orozco responded to the adoring crowd's screams by showcasing his biggest songs backed by a band comprised of Puerto Rican musicians. His set list included hits such as the songs “Una y otra vez”, “Siempre imperfectos”, a medley of “Ya lo sabes” and “Devuélveme la vida” – during which he stepped off the stage and into the audience – and “Estoy hecho de pedacitos de ti” which became the most popular song of the night as the capacity audience became his back up chorus.
Antonio Orozco has been the only artist to be Invited to the annual event for two consecutive years. The festival is renowned for uniting the biggest stars in Latin music. Similar to what transpired last year, Antonio Orozco's performance was fused with emotions, energy and a tremendous response from the audience.
