Los Angeles, CA (October 22, 2012) – The party truly began when the surging urban duo JKING & MAXIMAN took the stage of the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles last night to perform their new single for the very first time in front of a national television audience at the Billboard Regional Mexican Music Awards broadcast live on Telemundo. Their new single “La Noche Esta De Fiesta (Hoy Si Que Se Bebe)” was part of the most spectacular performance of the night; an explosive medley from the night’s biggest winners 3BALLMTY who took home a total of 9 awards. The performance was drenched with bright colors, lights, fireworks and sensual dancers, and also included America Sierra, Smoky and Los Primos de Durango.
“La Noche Está de Fiesta (Hoy Si Que Se Bebe)” is the first single from JKing & Maximan’s new álbum “Los Sucesores” which will be released in early 2013. The song is the first fusion from a reggaeton group with the popular tribal sound and a musical union between Puerto Rico and Mexico. Always innovators, the duo joined forces with producer Toy Selectah and the DJ collective 3BALLMTY; the result is a pulsating track that is quickly becoming one of the most requested songs at radio throughout the country.
Last month JKing & Maximan traveled to Monterrey to film the music video for the song. The video, directed by Memo Serrano from Latin Power Films will premiere in early November. In the video, JKing & Maximan are the special guests of 3BALLMTY (Erick Rincon, DJ Otto and Sheeqo Beat) at a nighttime party where both groups celebrate their union with banda, drinks and beautiful women.
