Tierra de sangre, que el 4 de diciembre se estrena comercialmente en Colombia y Perú, cuenta la historia de Magdalena (Aislinn Derbez), una joven que contrae matrimonio con Louis (Francisco Pizarro Sáenz de Urtury) un francés misterioso y dueño de una inmensa viña. El romance entre ambos es interrumpido por la sorpresiva llegada de Etienne (Aurelien Wilk) el hermano menor de Louis. Pronto, la violenta muerta de varios vecinos del lugar hacen corren rumores sobre la presencia de un terrible monstruo, lo que despierta en ella sospechas sobre su cuñado. From Warner Bros. Pictures comes, “Pan,” a live-action Peter Pan feature directed by Joe Wright (“Atonement,” “Pride & Prejudice”).

   Offering a new take on the origin of the classic characters created by J.M. Barrie, the action adventure follows the story of an orphan who is spirited away to the magical Neverland.  There, he finds both fun and dangers, and ultimately discovers his destiny—to become the hero who will be forever known as Peter Pan. 

   The film stars Oscar nominee Hugh Jackman (“Les Misérables”) as Blackbeard; Garrett Hedlund (“Inside Llewyn Davis”) as Hook; Oscar nominee Rooney Mara (“The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo”) as Tiger Lily; Adeel Akhtar (“The Dictator”) as Smee; and newcomer Levi Miller as Peter.

Yet, despite the cruelty inflicted upon her, Ella is determined to honor her mother’s dying words and to “have courage and be kind.” She will not give in to despair nor despise those who mistreat her. And then there is the dashing stranger she meets in the woods. Unaware that he is really a prince, not merely an apprentice at the Palace, Ella finally feels she has met a kindred soul. 

It appears her fortunes may be about to change when the Palace sends out an open invitation for all maidens to attend a ball, raising Ella’s hopes of once again encountering the charming Kit (Richard Madden). Alas, her stepmother forbids her to attend and callously rips apart her dress. But, as in all good fairy tales, help is at hand, and a kindly beggar woman (Helena Bonham Carter) steps forward and, armed with a pumpkin and a few mice, changes Cinderella’s life forever.

Hulu Announces Straight-to-Series Order for Amy Poehler's "DIFFICULT PEOPLE"

AMY POEHLER’S DIFFICULT PEOPLE FROM UNIVERSAL CABLE PRODUCTIONS

Julie Klausner and Billy Eichner Set to Star

LOS ANGELES, CA - November 18, 2014 – Hulu today announced a straight-to-series pick-up of Difficult People from executive producers Amy Poehler (Parks & Recreation) and Dave Becky (Louie). The half-hour comedy series marks the first collaboration between Hulu and Universal Cable Productions and is set to start production early next year.  

Difficult People hails from Julie Klausner (Billy on the Street) who stars alongside Emmy®-nominated Billy on the Street host Billy Eichner. As best friends living in New York City, their typical, irreverent behavior lands them in some very awkward situations. Klausner wrote the pilot and will also serve as an executive producer for the series.

In addition to the 7th (and final) season of Parks and Recreation, Poehler and recently announced new partner Brooke Posch’s Paper Kite Productions produces the hit shows Broad City on Comedy Central and NBC’s Welcome to Sweden.

"I tend to enjoy funny people creating and starring in comedy programs, and Julie and Billy are the funniest around," said Poehler.

Difficult People joins Hulu’s growing slate of original programming, including recent straight-to-series pick-up orders for CASUAL, a comedy series from Jason Reitman and 11/22/63, an original event series from J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot Productions, based on Stephen King’s best-selling book.

"INTERSTELLAR" Una Aventura Espacial Que Te Hará Preguntarte Que Hay Mas Allá Fuera De Nuestra Galaxia...

Hace unas semanas atrás, Allie’s Entertainment Blog tuvo la oportunidad de participar de la conferencia de prensa de la película “INTERSTELLAR” dirigida por Christopher Nolan, escrita por Jonathan Nolan y protagonizada por Matthew McConaughy, Anne Hathaway y Jessica Chastain.

“INTERSTELLAR” trata sobre ya con nuestros días en la Tierra a punto de terminar, un equipo de exploradores se lanza a la misión más importante en la historia de la humanidad: viajar más de esta galaxia para descubrir si el hombre tiene un futuro entre las estrellas.

Y para que la historia de “INTERSTELLAR” se viera en la pantalla grande lo más real y creíble posible, Christopher Nolan, junto a su equipo de efectos visuales y diseñadores, consultó con un jefe de la Nasa y vio un sin número de películas filmadas en el espacio de la NASA.

“Nosotros hicimos en parte nuestra asignación antes de grabar la película. Uno de nuestros mejores recursos fue IMAX, ya que ellos tienen una relación con NASA. NASA por 30 años ha utilizado el mismo tipo de cámara en el espacio que nosotros utilizamos para grabar la película y ellos tienen increible imagenes del espacio. Una de las cosas que hice fue reunir a mi equipo de diseñadores y efectos visuales y proyectar en un teatro IMAX las películas de la Nasa en el espacio, para poder incorporar lo más posible los detalles del espacio, la nave espacial, su textura.. También gracias a la ayuda del jefe espacial, quien ha viajado al espacio 5 veces fue de gran ayuda para mi y para mis actores para la realización de esta película. Y tengo que decir, que luego que el jefe espacial vio la película, el quedó muy impresionado con el producto” Dijo Christopher Nolan.

No solo Christopher Nolan hizo su asignación, sino también Jonathan Nolan mientras escribía el guión de “INTERSTELLAR”

“Mi primer paso a la hora de escribir fue tener entendimiento sobre la relatividad, porque supe que iba a ser un elemento importante en la historia. También leí sobre Einstein y quedé fascinado en cómo sin tener los instrumentos que tenemos hoy en día, intentó tener entendimiento del universo e hizo distintos experimentos para entender sobre la naturaleza de la escala de las masas que se encuentra en nuestro alrededor. So, eso sugirió la idea de que si quieres hacerte estas grandes preguntas, entonces necesitas comenzar y personalmente moverte a la dirección opuesta y asegurarte de que esta fundamentado en algo” Dijo Jonathan Nolan.

Y como dijo Christopher Nolan en la conferencia de prensa, esta es una historia sobre la relación familiar y es una ilustración sobre la humanidad, utilizando la exploración del universo como un lente de nosotros como humanos lo más posible.

Y es esto lo que sus personajes en esta película protagonizada por Matthew, Anne y Jessica intentan hacer, encontrar un nuevo hogar en el espacio. Pero el personaje de Matthew, Cooper, tuvo que hacer un sacrificio grande para encontrar este hogar y fue dejar a su familia.

“A Cooper le quitaron un sueño y ahora esta sentado en un campo. Pero luego le re-introducen su sueño y ahora se hace la pregunta que va a pasar con su familia si se va. Desde el comienzo yo supe que esto es sobre la familia y por alguna razón siempre hay un tipo de adiós y es una situación por la que pasa Cooper en “INTERSTELLAR” Explicó Matthew McConaughey.

Algo muy interesante que dijo Matthew, es que luego de formar parte de “INTERSTELLAR” es que ahora se hace la pregunta de “hacia dónde vamos y hacia donde miráramos fuera de esta frontera.

“Algo que obtuve de esta película es que, la expectativa del ser humano tiene que ser más grande que ellos mismos. Y mientras más vayamos hacia el espacio, más aprendemos que es sobre tú y yo. Y es más sobre esta delicada y alcanzable idea y no soy un experto sobre ello, pero ahora podremos tener conversaciones sobre este tema, que un año atrás no hubiera tenido antes de esta película. Pero ahora me hago la pregunta de hacia dónde vamos y hacia qué dirección tenemos que mirar para cruzar la frontera” Dijo Matthew.  

Para finalizar, la productora Emma Thomas dice que se divirtió mucho produciendo esta película, ya que es un proyecto que trata sobre una aventura de viaje espacial.

“Esta historia a pésar que trata sobre un viaje espacial, tiene una historia muy íntima y muy relacionado a mi como madre e incluso también como ser humano.  Puede ser un poco deprimente el solo pensar que podríamos perder a la Tierra que amamos en esta historia, pero Chris y Jonathan mantiene en ella esperanza y una realidad que nosotros como humanos tenemos, esa sensación de aventura, nuestra resistencia, algo que otras criaturas en este planeta no tienen” Dijo Emma Thomas.
