From masters of horror Blumhouse Productions- producer of THE PURGE, INSIDIOUS and SINISTER franchises - THE LAZARUS EFFECT follows a group of researchers led by Frank (Mark Duplass) and his fiancée Zoe (Olivia Wilde,) who've achieved the unimaginable- bringing the dead back to life.  

After a successful, yet unsanctioned, trial on a newly deceased animal, the team is ready to unveil their breakthrough to the world. When the dean of their university learns of their underground experiments, their project is unexpectedly shut down and their materials confiscated.

Frank, Zoe and their team (Donald Glover, Sarah Bolger and Evan Peters) take matters into their own hands, launching a rogue attempt to recreate their experiment, during which things go terribly wrong and one of their own, Zoe, is horrifically killed. Fueled by terror and grief, Frank pushes them to do the unthinkable: attempt to resurrect their first human test subject.

Initially, the procedure appears a success, but the team soon realizes something is wrong with Zoe. As her strange new persona reveals itself, the team quickly becomes stuck in a gruesome reality. They are no longer faced with the question of whether they can bring someone back to life- but rather, the wrath of her return.  #EvilWillRise

On the road to their final show, with whistle stops in Jacksonville and Savannah to renew old acquaintances and make new friends, Mike and the guys learn some new moves and shake off the past in surprising ways.

“Buen Día Ramón” Una Historia Donde El Lenguaje, No Es Obstáculo Para Una Gran Amistad...

“Buen Día Ramón” es una historia que tocará tu corazón y una historia con el cual muchos inmigrantes se identificarán, cuando llegan a un lugar solos y no conocen a nadie.

La película “Buen Día Ramón” dirigida y escrita por el director mexicano Jorge Ramírez Suárez y protagonizada por Kristyan Ferrer, cuenta la enternecedora historia, de un joven de un pequeño pueblo mexicano que viaja a Alemania para buscar trabajo y así poder mantener a su familia, pero termina quedándose sin techo ni dinero. Lucha para sobrevivir en las calles hasta que conoce a Ruth, una anciana solitaria con la que desarrolla una asombrosa y conmovedora amistad que trasciende fronteras y prejuicios.

Esta película toca un tema, donde muchos inmigrantes en busca de un mejor futuro podrían enfrentar al irse de sus hogares.  De acuerdo al director Jorge Ramírez-Suárez, si hay mexicanos que residen en Alemania y ha conocido a Ramones en Alemania, dónde actualmente reside y es como se inspiró a escribir el guión de ésta película.

“Hay mexicanos en Alemania sin papeles, porque los he conocido y es así como me inspire en hacer esta película. Yo he conocido de 4 a 5 Ramones en Alemania, pero a lo mejor hay 20,000, no millones como en Estados Unidos. Y de esos “20,000” muchos sufren lo que Ramón. En esta película a Ramón le tocó una buena historia, conoció a una buena persona, pero hay otros Ramones que tal vez no han conocido esta bonita historia.” Dijo Jorge Ramírez-Suárez

Kristyan Ferrer, quién interpreta al personaje de Ramón, dice que Ramón, no es un personaje que le es desconocido.

“No me es ajena este tipo de personajes, porque los conozco.. sobra con abrir la ventana y ver lo que está sucediendo afuera y es triste ver, como en ocasiones viven muchas de estas personas. Y desde mi punto de vista, éste tipo de tema no se había tocado en éste tono. “Buen Día Ramón” tiene drama, pero al mismo tiempo, un poco de comedia, está entre medio” Comentó Kristyan Ferrer.

Incluso, se le preguntó a Kristyan, si durante la grabación de la película aprendió Alemán, ya que la película está en dos idiomas: español y alemán con subtítulos en inglés.

“No” dijo entre risas Kristyan Ferrer. “El (Director Jorge Ramírez-Suárez) me lo prohibió. El me dio el guión con los textos de los alemanes en alemán y no fue hasta que llegué al festival de Morelia que supe lo que estaban diciendo. Y creo que eso ayudó mucho, a que el personaje tuviera más frescura y vivir en el momento.” Explicó Kristyan Ferrer

Algo muy interesante que dijo el director y escritor Jorge Ramírez-Suárez es que el éxito de esta película en México, es porque es una historia de la cual se podrían identificar muchos inmigrantes.

“Creo que el éxito de esta película en México ha sido, de que estoy retratando de alguna manera, lo que a muchos les pasa cuando llegan a un lugar desconocido y estan solo. No sabes a quién acudir si tienes un problema, no conoces a alguien que te pueda ayudar y es una soledad muy fue fuerte que puede sufrir un inmigrante. Y cuando conoces a alguien que te da la mano, ya no te sientes solo y cuando ves en esta historia como el personaje de Ruth ayuda a Ramón, dices que lindo es cuando alguien ayuda a alguien. Y cuando tienes a un amigo en ese lugar, ya no te sientes solo.” Dijo Jorge Ramos-Suarez

Cuando se le preguntó a Kristyan cual fue su escena favorita durante la grabación de “Buen Día Ramón” él nos dijo “La cena de Ramón con Ruth”.

“Fue la cena de Ramón con Ruth.  Fue una escena muy larga y la ensayamos por una escena. Para mí, la escena fue un momento mágico… hubo una química, de esas que no te puedes explicar y cuando terminamos la escena nos quedamos viendo. Pero luego miro hacia al lado y veo al fotógrafo de cámara llorando… todos están callados. Fue un momento maravilloso” Explicó Kristyan Ferrer.

El director Jorge Ramírez-Suárez también estuvo de acuerdo con Kristyan que esta fue una de sus escenas favoritas.

“Si esa escena fue maravillosa. Una escena larga que grabamos en dos días.  Digamos que en la parte importante de la escena, yo utilizé un dolly con dos cámaras. Y justamente cuando el personaje de Ruth, comienza a contarle de su pasado, de su padre y digo corte, veo que el fotógrafo de cámara está llorando, volteo a ver y veo que otras personas están llorando, otros emocionados y a mi también se me pusieron los ojos llorosos. Y esa noche dije, si eso está pasando aquí, cuando se vea en la pantalla grande y logramos transmitir lo mismo que aquí, pues ganamos.” dijo Jorge Ramirez-Suarez.

Para finalizar, algo muy interesante que dijo el director es que ésta película ha tenido mucho éxito, porque muchos se identifican de alguna forma u otra con la historia de Ramón.

“Buen Dia Ramon” Ya en cines selectos en Los Angeles, Houston y Colorado. Abre el 13 de febrero en cines selectos en las ciudades de Dallas, San Jose y Chicago.
