Check Out New Video For "INTO THE STORM" Wind Speed... In Theaters August 8!
From New Line Cinema, in association with Village Roadshow Pictures, comes the tornado disaster film “Into the Storm.” Steven Quale (“Final Destination 5”) directs the film, which is produced by Todd Garner (“Zookeeper,” “Knight and Day”).
In the span of a single day, the town of Silverton is ravaged by an unprecedented onslaught of tornadoes. The entire town is at the mercy of the erratic and deadly cyclones, even as storm trackers predict the worst is yet to come. Most people seek shelter, while others run towards the vortex, testing how far a storm chaser will go for that once-in-a-lifetime shot.
Told through the eyes and lenses of professional storm chasers, thrill-seeking amateurs, and courageous townspeople, “Into the Storm” throws you directly into the eye of the storm to experience Mother Nature at her most extreme.
Quale is directing the film from a screenplay by John Swetnam. The executive producers are Richard Brener, Walter Hamada, Dave Neustadter, Mark McNair, Jeremy Stein and Bruce Berman.
The film stars Richard Armitage (“The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey,” “The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug”), Sarah Wayne Callies (TV’s “The Walking Dead”), Matt Walsh (“Ted”), Alycia Debnam-Carey (“Where the Devil Hides”), Arlen Escarpeta (“Final Destination 5”), Nathan Kress (TV’s “iCarly”), Jon Reep (“Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay”) and Jeremy Sumpter (“Soul Surfer,” TV’s “Friday Night Lights”).
Quale’s behind-the-scenes creative team consists of several members of his “Final Destination 5” roster, including director of photography Brian Pearson, production designer David Sandefur, editor Eric Sears and composer Brian Tyler, as well as costume designer Kimberly Adams (associate costume designer the “Chronicles of Narnia” films).
New Line Cinema production, in association with Village Roadshow Pictures, a Broken Road production, “Into the Storm.” The film will be distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company, and in select territories by Village Roadshow Pictures.

En Entrevista con Gabriel Iglesias conocido como “Fluffy” y nos habla de su película “THE FLUFFY MOVIE”
Gabriel Iglesias es uno de los más reconocidos comediantes de descendencia latina en los Estados Unidos y es por eso que tuvo el acercamiento para hacer una película tipo concierto con el.
“Yo no lo busque, este proyecto fue traído a mi. Ellos se me acercaron para que formara parte de este proyecto, cuando vieron los numeros de mi canal de you tube y de mis seguidores en mis medios sociales. Me dijeron que viniera con un nuevo “sketch” de una hora y media y honestamente eso le toma a un comediante alrededor de 20 años para lograr eso. Al principio lo dude mucho, pero tome la decisión de tomar el riesgo y lo hice” Explicó Gabriel Iglesias.
En esta película tipo concierto, conocemos un poco más sobre quien en realidad es Gabriel fuera de la tarima.
“Yo quiero que en esta película, la audiencia vea que yo no soy solo un tipo que hace dinero, sino que soy una persona común como cualquiera. Soy una persona que sufre, soy una persona que tiene problemas de salud, soy un persona que tiene problemas psicológicas (ríe) y me siento afortunado que por medio de lo que hago puedo expresar lo que siento. Quiero que el público definitivamente sepa, que la persona que ven en la pantalla grande o en tarima es la misma persona fuera de ella” Dijo Gabriel Iglesias.
Uno de sus retos durante el proceso de este proyecto, fue permitir que otras personas formarán parte del lado creativo, ya que usualmente es él quien lo hace.
“El reto de estar en “concierto” fue algo agradable para mi, al igual que mi desempeño en la tarima. La parte difícil y retante para mi, fue el proceso de edición y asegurarme de que todo mundo estuviera en la misma página, porque verdaderamente en televisión, yo soy el que entrega el producto como yo quiero. Fue también retante diar con todas las compañías y personas que invirtieron en este proyecto, asegurandome que todo mundo tuviera su “decir”. Y para mi permitir que alguien ponga sus manos en mi área creativa, fue bien difícil, porque no estoy acostumbrado a hacer eso” Explicó Gabriel Iglesias.
Para finalizar le preguntamos porque la audiencia debe ir a ver “THE FLUFFY MOVIE” vs. verlo en vivo.
“Es la primera película que no ha sido “clasificada”, todo mundo puede ir a verla. El único que hace el esfuerzo es “FLUFFY”, pero es una película que los padres se sentirán cómodos en traer a sus hijos y verla. Es un “stand up” de comedia estilo concierto y te vas a reir, como también estarás pegado a ella desde principio a fin.

“THE PURGE: ANARCHY” lleva a la audiencia a las calles de Downtown Los Angeles, a sobrevivir “The Purge” Una Tradición Americana junto a los actores Frank Grillo Y Zach Gilford
El pasado domingo tuvimos la oportunidad de entrevistar a dos de los protagonistas de la secuela “The Purge: Anarchy”, Frank Grillo (Leo) y Zach Gilford (Shane). The Purge: Anarchy” fue escrita y dirigida por James Demonaco y saldrá en cines el próximo 18 de julio.
En esta secuela, “The Purge: Anarchy” toma lugar en las calles de Downtown, Los Angeles y le muestra a la audiencia lo que se lleva a cabo durante “The Purge” fuera de los suburbios de una comunidad. Esta nueva película sigue la historia de cinco ciudadanos, que durante el curso de la noche, se dan cuenta que tan lejos pueden llegar para protegerse y protegerse entre ellos mismo, con el fin de sobrevivir en una noche cargada de intensidad y de decisiones imposibles.
El propósito de James Demonaco en esta secuela, es enseñar a la audiencia como es “The Purge” desde un punto de vista político y como hacen los ciudadanos de clase baja y media para protegerse de esta noche, ya que no pueden darse el lujo de obtener un gran sistema de protección como los adinerados.
De acuerdo a Frank Grillo, ésta película se hizo con solo $12 millones de dólares y tomó 28 días para grabarse en Downtown Los Angeles.
“No solo grabamos en downtown Los Angeles, sino también en la noche. Solo tuvimos 28 días para grabar y necesitábamos movernos rápido. Pero yo pienso que le añadió intensidad a la película, porque estábamos intensos todo el tiempo, pero me encantó la experiencia” Dijo Frank Grillo.
El personaje que éste interpreta “Leo”, decide hacer “purging” esa noche para acabar con su deseo de venganza hacia aquellos que le quitaron la vida a un ser muy querido por el.
Frank Grillo nos habla sobre su personaje y nos dijo cómo evolucionó su personaje antes de grabar la película, ya que el quería que él tuviera las características de los personajes interpretados por actores legendarios como, Charles Bronson, Lee Marvin y Steve McQueen.
“Originalmente, mi personaje tenía mucho diálogo y se introducía el en un momento dado y a los otros cuatro personajes y yo les dije, “Vamos a cortar el diálogo. El no necesita hablar tanto.. el tiene una misión, hay obstáculos y necesita pasar alrededor de esos obstáculos. El no necesita introducir y no tiene que hacer amigos con nadie.” Les dije tambien vamos a crearlo como los personajes de los legendarios actores Charles Branson’s, Steve McQueen y Lee Marvin, ese tipo de personaje y ellos dijeron eso es perfecto, vamos hacerlo” Explicó Frank Grillo.
Esa libertad de expresarse es unas de las cualidades que Frank Grillo le gusto de trabajar con James Demonaco.
“Lo que me gustó de hacer películas con James es que, aunque no nos da comida o trailer (Frank ríe), pero si te da la libertad de crear y tener creatividad con tu personaje. Honestamente, yo prefiero traer mi propia comida y hacer la película que quiero hacer. Esa oportunidad tu no la tienes todo el tiempo” Dijo Frank Grillo.
Otro actor que nos habló, un poco de su experiencia trabajando con James Demonaco y su concepto en la película “The Purge: Anarchy” fue Zach Gilford, quien interpreta a “Shane”.
“James Demonaco, es uno de los mejores directores con quien he trabajado. Me refiero a el tipo de ambiente que él crea, él te hace sentir respetado y apreciado. Cuando me llegó el guión de esta película me dije, “voy a grabar la secuela de “The Purge”, se de que se trata”, pero cuando comencé a leer el guión, me di cuenta que tiene un punto de vista político, el cual en mi opinión, le da más intensidad a la película y me encantó. Me siento muy orgulloso de la película después de verla. Es verdaderamente un tributo a James, porque él tenía una visión y supo cómo ejecutarla” Dijo Zach Gilford.
Zach Gilford también nos explicó de acuerdo a él, la diferencia entre la primera “The Purge” y esta nueva secuela.
“La primera fue la que comenzó todo y estas dos películas se complementan perfectamente una a la otra, porque son películas bien hechas y extraordinarias. La primera fue suspenso con horror, donde los malos invaden la casa. Mientras que la secuela, sale a la calle y es una película con acción. Yo creo que es por eso que la gente está tan intrigada en verlas, porque te pone a pensar que sería sin la ayuda de los servicios de emergencia o de la fuerza policiaca por 12 horas y cualquier individuo puede hacer lo que quiera, sin que le caiga el peso de la ley...no me lo quiero ni imaginar”. Dijo Zach Gilford.
En cuanto a su personaje en esta película “Shane”, él y su esposa se encuentran en downtown donde se lleva a cabo, la mayor parte de “purging”, cuando su auto se quedó varado alrededor de 30 minutos antes de que comenzara “The Purge”.
“Mi personaje, es el de cualquier hombre de clase media, que se encuentra en una situación aterrorizante con su esposa, que no están “purging”, pero tampoco se esconden en una esquina y se dejan que los maten sin dar una lucha. Ellos están diando con la situación y tratando de buscar soluciones a su problema. Durante el trayecto de la película, ellos toman valentía y pelean de vuelta un poco” Dijo Zach Gilford.
Para aquellos que a lo mejor se preguntan si habrá una trilogía de esta película y si Frank Grillo participaria en ella, el nos dice que depende…
“El concepto de la revolución y la resistencia que surge durante esta secuela, permite que haya una tercera. En cuanto yo a participar, depende del que guión sea muy bueno y que James participe de ella. Ambos acordamos que lo haríamos juntos, porque verdaderamente creamos una gran relación. También depende de que la gente salga a verla este viernes y si tiene éxito, hay una gran posibilidad que haya una tercera” Dijo Frank Grillo.
Para finalizar, Zach Gilford, nos dice porque la audiencia tiene que ir a ver “The Purge: Anarchy” este viernes, 18 de julio.
“Esta secuela lleva a la audiencia a las calles, donde se lleva a cabo “The Purge” y es propiamente pro-anarchy, porque hay caos allá afuera y tiene un concepto más alto en el sentido del punto político y también la discusión de la violencia innata en el ser humano. Es una película muy buena, que se mueve muy bien y está bien hecha. Vas a salir con mucho de que hablar sobre ella” Dijo Zach Gilford.
