From director Clint Eastwood comes “American Sniper,” starring Bradley Cooper as Chris Kyle, the most lethal sniper in U.S. military history. But there was much more to him than his skill as a sharpshooter.
U.S. Navy SEAL Chris Kyle is sent to Iraq with only one mission: to protect his brothers-in-arms. His pinpoint accuracy saves countless lives on the battlefield and, as stories of his courageous exploits spread, he earns the nickname “Legend.” However, his reputation is also growing behind enemy lines, putting a price on his head and making him a prime target of insurgents. He is also facing a different kind of battle on the home front: striving to be a good husband and father from halfway around the world.
Despite the danger, as well as the toll on his family at home, Chris serves through four harrowing tours of duty in Iraq, personifying the SEAL creed to “leave no man behind.” But upon returning to his wife, Taya Renae Kyle (Sienna Miller), and kids, Chris finds that it is the war he can’t leave behind.

Gina Rodríguez Protagoniza A 'Jane' En La Serie De CW "JANE THE VIRGIN" Estrena El 13 De Octubre!
El pasado lunes, Allie’s Entertainment Blog tuvo la oportunidad de estar en el set del próximo CW show “Jane The Virgin” protagonizado por Gina Rodriguez.
El show trata sobre cuando la abuela de Jane Villanueva (Gina Rodriguez) le inculcó desde bien pequeña dos cosas importantísimas para la vida: las telenovelas son el mejor pasatiempo y la virginidad tiene que preservarse hasta el matrimonio. A sus 23 años de edad, Jane ha seguido los pasos que le indicó su abuela en el pasado y está trabajando duro para ser profesora y cumplir el sueño de ser escritora.
Por otro lado, su prometido, Michael (Brett Dier), la ha respetado en todo momento. Lo que no sabe es que su vida se pondrá patas arriba cuando se enteren de que la joven ha sido inseminada erróneamente y está embaraza, lo que dará un giro de 180º para Jane y todo su entorno.
También destacan en el reparto de 'Jane The Virgin' Justin Baldoni como Rafael, Yael Grobglas como Petra, , Andrea Navedo como Xiomara, Ivonne Coll como Alba y Jaime Camil como Rogelio. The CW es la encargada de desarrollar esta adaptación de la telenovela venezolana 'Juana La Virgen'.
Gina Rodriguez, nos habla sobre su personaje 'Jane' en esta serie de CW.
“Jane es una estudiante de educación, porque ella quiere ser maestra, pero también tiene sueños de ser escritora. Jane es una mujer que quiere controlar todo y tiene un plan de cómo su vida tiene que ser para ser perfecta, pero como dice el refrán ‘el hombre planea, pero Dios dispone’. So, cuando Jane va a una cita con el ginecólogo, hubo un error por parte de la ginecóloga y ese error fue que Jane fue inseminada artificialmente y ahora esta embarazada siendo virgen” Explicó Gina.
Cuando este guión le llegó a las manos, Gina se sorprendió cuando sus agentes la enviaron a audicionar por el papel principal de este show.
“Cuando mi equipo me envió a audicionar para este show you les pregunte ‘Jane the what’? Y por que personaje iba a audicionar, ellos me dijeron ‘Por Jane, el personaje principal’. So, cuando supe de esto, me emocioné mucho, porque no es usual que un latino obtenga este tipo de oportunidades en este tipo de cadenas de televisión como CW, porque no ocurre usualmente” Dijo Gina Rodriguez.
Pero algo que incluso le llamó la atención cuando leyó el guión, fue el hecho de que no tilda a Jane precisamente como latina.
“Cuando comencé a leer el guión, me encantó, porque la guionista, escribió una historia sobre una jóven creciendo en América, no con una específica identidad y cultura. Ella no escribe, porque es latina, tengo que asesorarme de mostrar que eres latina. No hay límites, no hay etiquetas.. Jane puede ser cualquier etnicidad, pero afortunadamente es latina” Dijo Gina Rodriguez
Se le preguntó, sobre la conexión emocional se su personaje con Justin Baldoni, quien interpreta a Rafael, el papá del bebé.
“Por medio del guión estamos conectados emocionalmente, pero también porque es Justin (dice entre risas). El es un gran ser humano. El interpreta a un personaje que fue un mujeriego, el chico malo, pero ahora es un buen hombre. Y a pésar de que mi personaje al momento rechaza la idea de estar embarazada con él, pero al final el es papá del bebé” Dijo Gina Rodriguez.
En cuánto como fue su experiencia junto a otros dos latinos reconocidos como Jaime Camil (Rogelio, su padre) y Ivonne Coll (Alba, la abuela), ella dice que es una delicia.
“Jaime, tiene un gran corazón.. el no es un diva, el es humilde y generoso. El es tan gracioso y talentoso. Y yo pienso que los americanos, si no saben quien es el, se van a enamorar de él en este show.. el es mi favorito. En cuanto a Ivonne, ella es un sueño, ella es fenomenal y es una leyenda. Yo he aprendido tanto de ella mientras la veo trabajando” Dijo Gina.
Para finalizar, cuando se le preguntó cual es el mensaje que le gustaría llevar a las jóvenes, especialmente a las latinas y es que tu eres suficiente hoy, eres suficiente ahora.
“Yo espero que muchas personas se puedan relacionar con mi personaje. Creo que el mensaje con Jane, es que nosotros como latinos llegamos y no nos vamos a ninguna parte. Creo que es una gran representación, por la forma que me crié y de las otras 50 millones que crecimos en este país. Pero tambien me encantaria enviar el mensaje a las jóvenes, de que tu eres suficiente ahora y eres suficiente hoy… y una vez dejes atrás las restricciones que sientes que tienes, vas a volar, porque el momento en que yo lo hice, no hubo nadie que me parara y nadie que me dijera que no era lo suficientemente bonita, que no era lo suficientemente fuerte o que no estaba preparada y no les creí porque solo Dios me puede decir eso” Dijo Gina Rodriguez.

When private eye Doc Sportello’s ex-old lady suddenly out of nowhere shows up with a story about her current billionaire land developer boyfriend whom she just happens to be in love with, and a plot by his wife and her boyfriend to kidnap that billionaire and throw him in a loony bin…well, easy for her to say.
It’s the tail end of the psychedelic `60s and paranoia is running the day and Doc knows that “love” is another of those words going around at the moment, like “trip” or “groovy,” that’s being way too overused—except this one usually leads to trouble.
With a cast of characters that includes surfers, hustlers, dopers and rockers, a murderous loan shark, LAPD Detectives, a tenor sax player working undercover, and a mysterious entity known as the Golden Fang, which may only be a tax dodge set up by some dentists... Part surf noir, part psychedelic romp—all Thomas Pynchon.
The film stars Oscar nominees Joaquin Phoenix (“The Master,” “Walk the Line”), Josh Brolin (“True Grit,” “No Country For Old Men”) and Owen Wilson (“The Royal Tennenbaums,” “Midnight in Paris”); Katherine Waterston (“Michael Clayton,” “Boardwalk Empire”); Oscar winners Reese Witherspoon (“Walk the Line”) and Benicio Del Toro (“Traffic”); Martin Short (“Frankenweenie”); Jena Malone (“The Hunger Games” series); and musician Joanna Newsom.

The follow-up to the 2011 hit comedy “Horrible Bosses” reunites Jason Bateman, Charlie Day and Jason Sudeikis as everyone’s favorite working stiffs: Nick, Dale and Kurt.
Jennifer Aniston (“We’re the Millers”), and Oscar® winners Jamie Foxx (“Ray”) and Kevin Spacey (“American Beauty,” “The Usual Suspects”) also reprise their “Horrible Bosses” starring roles, while Chris Pine (“Star Trek: Into Darkness”) and Oscar® winner Christoph Waltz (“Django Unchained,” “Inglourious Basterds”) star as new adversaries standing between the guys and their dreams of success.
Fed up with answering to higher-ups, Nick (Bateman), Dale (Day) and Kurt (Sudeikis) decide to become their own bosses by launching their own business in “Horrible Bosses 2.” But a slick investor soon pulls the rug out from under them. Outplayed and desperate, and with no legal recourse, the three would-be entrepreneurs hatch a misguided plan to kidnap the investor’s adult son and ransom him to regain control of their company.

Last Tuesday was the Red Carpet in Los Angeles with the cast and crew of Starz Original Series "Survivor's Remorse" which will air on Saturday, October 4th!
Set in Atlanta, “Survivor’s Remorse” follows Cam Calloway, a basketball phenom in his early 20’s who is suddenly thrust into the limelight after signing a multi-million dollar contract with a professional basketball team, and explores the comedy and drama of an experience that everyone reads about, but few understand – what happens when you “make it out.”
Cam Calloway, along with his cousin and confidant Reggie Vaughn, move to Georgia to start Cam’s journey to success. The two confront the challenges of carrying opportunistic family members and their strong ties to the impoverished community that they come from. Cam, Reggie and an unforgettable group of characters wrestle with the rewards and pitfalls of stardom, love and loyalty.
The cast is led by Jessie T.
